Gerald's Tires

I ended up with a flat tire pretty suddenly, and I was close to this Gerald's. Thank goodness! They were crazy busy but getting everybody served in a timely fashion. Now I've got a new tire at a good price and was back on the road in less than 2 hours, not bad at all for a walk-in. Also, the dude with the curly hair, dimples, and glasses is the cutest mechanic I've ever seen, so... bonus?

Time to rotate tires I purchased at Gerald's in Mt. Pleasant. Realized I had a screw in one of them, I was nervous about taking it across the Ravenell Bridge. Stopped in here and Matt handled it. The Technician that serviced it as well. The staff is friendly, courteous and professional. When customer service has fallen apart in the rest of the country, Gerald's holds it together. It's refreshing. Thank you!

Man, this place is awesome. Every person, from Dashawn to Trey to Matt were incredibly kind. The work got done quickly and in clear view. Pricing was reasonable and the playlist was 🔥. Thank yall for everything! If you don’t know already- this is the only place to go for tires in Charleston!

The customer service reps were great but everything else was poorly handled and I am extremely disappointed. I preordered my tires online, paid a deposit and scheduled an appointment. After dropping off my car and returning home they informed me that they didn’t order/receive the tires I ordered 5 days in advance. They offered another tire that was more expensive and promised to match the original price. Then they informed me they only have 3 tires not 4 and I will have to wait for them to get another tire. This ended taking the entire day to get the tires installed. When I picked up my car they charged me the inflated price instead of the matched price and never even applied my deposit I had already paid. I had to get two refunds issued and still haven’t received my money. Communication and follow through were not good and the other service item I requested was never addressed. The whole experience was a waste of time and money.

I can’t thank Scott, the general manager at Gerald’s Tires, enough for his kindness and generosity. My family and I have been going through a really tough time first my car broke down, then we ended up with a busted tire, all while being low on funds. It felt like everything was hitting us at once. Scott truly went above and beyond and blessed us with a new tire when we needed it the most. That kind of compassion is rare these days, and it meant more to us than words can explain. He is genuinely a kind person with a huge heart. The rest of the staff was just as amazing professional, understanding, and welcoming. You can tell this place really cares about people, not just business. I highly recommend Gerald’s Tires to anyone. They gained a loyal customer for life. Thank you again, Scott you made a difference for my family when we needed it most.
